A little bit about me
I was born and raised in Allentown Pennsylvania and graduated from William Allen High School in 1989. I worked with 3 and 5 gate American Saddlebred horses through my teens and early 20"s and when an opportunity open to take a job selling, installing and repairing fitness equipment and I left to start my career in the fitness industry. In 1994 I opened up my own nutrition store with my ex-wife Chrissy, Top Physique Sports Nutrition. At one time we had 2 locations with 3 additional satellite locations.
We started sponsoring local bodybuilding events in the Northeast and in 2000 we were presented with an opportunity to take over the NPC Lehigh Valley Championships. Before we knew it, we were running the NPC Pennsylvania State Championships, the NPC Mountain Valley Championships (which would later become the NPC Big Cat Classic), the NPC Keystone Championships, the NPC Natural Top Physique Championships and in 2007 the IFBB Keystone Men's Pro Show where IFBB Pro Bodybuilder Dennis Wolf won his first pro show.
I worked as a fitness adviser for Men's Health Magazine in the early 2000's. I was the Vice President of Ab-ulous Meals Inc. where we produced 16oz high protein, low glycemic carbohydrate meals that was showcased at the Arnold Classic, L.A. Fit Expo, Club Industry and IHRSA Expos. We had the pleasure of having one of the best in the business as our spokesperson, none other than Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler. Unfortunately, with the collapse of the economy in 2008 we had stop operation.
I now travel back and forth between Pennsylvania and Tennessee where I currently live with my wife Valerie. I work for a fitness equipment company called Fitness Solutions in Knoxville. We attend Faith Promise Church and try our best to allow God to work through us.
Iron Sharpens Iron Productions events continue to grow each year and I’m very blessed and thankful to be a part of the NPC.
